TORONTO - ESPN Classic Canada's total audience reach for the first four games of the storied 1972 Summit Series was 216,000 unique viewers -  making it the network's most-watched programming initiative.*

Game 2 of the '72 Summit Series was the highest-rated event/game in  network history with an average minute audience of 35,700 (2+) viewers on Wednesday, Sept. 4 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. ET.

ESPN Classic Canada set record numbers in primetime in the 2+ demographic with an average minute audience of 5,500 viewers - 14 times the network's average audience. In the key 25-54 demographic, ESPN Classic Canada's  primetime coverage of the '72 Summit Series attracted an average minute audience of 5,000 viewers - 25 times its regular average.

ESPN Classic Canada's remaining 1972 Summit Series broadcast schedule is as follows:

* Game 1 from Montreal on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m.

* Game 2 from Toronto on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 3 p.m.

* Game 3 from Winnipeg on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 5 p.m.

* Game 4 from Vancouver on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.

* Game 5 from Moscow on Sunday, Sept. 22 from midnight to midnight, game repeats every two hours

* Game 6 from Moscow on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from midnight to midnight, game repeats every two hours

* Game 7 from Moscow on Thursday, Sept. 26 from midnight to midnight, game repeats every two hours

* Game 8 from Moscow on Saturday, Sept. 28 from midnight to midnight, game repeats every two hours
