winning goal, swatting home a loose puck at 11:39 of the third period to lift the Canadian women’s hockey team past the United States 2-1
in the 2005 Four Nations Cup. This is Canada's eight Four Nations Cup

World Cup Not Dead? An
interesting tangent from that Szemberg quote is the reference to the World
Cup. There has been practically no mention of the World Cup in the new CBA,
leading me to believe the World Cup had been discarded. While the World
Cup's future remains murky as ever, perhaps there is hope that language
exists in the CBA for a future tournament after all.
